IronOrbit Takes Next Step in Cloud GPU Delivery with NVIDIA vGPUs

Anaheim, CA, June 10th, 2020 –  IronOrbit today announced that the company’s U.S. and Canadian data centers will all be using NVIDIA virtual GPU (vGPU) technology. IronOrbit’s flagship GPU-powered cloud-based INFINITY Workspaces enables clients to run GPU-intensive 3D visualization applications or programs on any connected device.

Additionally, with support for the NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstation and RTX 6000 GPU, INFINITY Workspaces provides enterprises access to the power of Quadro, the most widely adopted professional graphics platform, all with the flexibility and simplicity of the cloud. IronOrbit INFINITY Workspaces are optimized for running the latest in computer graphics, including real-time interactive rendering, CAD and 3D modeling, simulation, animation and content creation. In addition, they allow for real-time collaboration with dispersed teams, improved productivity and robust version control. IronOrbit has been on a steady growth trajectory for several years, providing transformational services for the data center to industries ranging from architecture, engineering and construction to healthcare to manufacturing.

Adding the NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstation and RTX GPUs to the IronOrbit INFINITY cloud solution will allow us to deliver high-performing, graphics-accelerated workspaces,” said Alexander Saca, CEO of IronOrbit. “We’re excited to be able to deliver the latest in professional graphics with NVIDIA to push the boundaries of what’s possible in business optimization and scaling.”

“The IronOrbit INFINITY Workspaces is ideal for professional graphics workstations used by engineers, architects, and designers across industries, from AEC to M&E to manufacturing. With Quadro performance from the cloud, on any connected device, professionals working from home can stay productive,” said Matt McGrigg, Global Director of Cloud Business Development, NVIDIA.

Earlier this year, IronOrbit announced the launch of its fifth data center cloud node in Toronto, extending its global DC footprint. This cloud node is dedicated to serve the Canadian market primarily with IronOrbit INFINITY Workspaces and other IaaS workloads. The expansion came as a result of IronOrbit’s “EPIC” strategy, announced earlier this year, and is set to catapult the company as a world leader with global coverage for all its offerings.
